We are a locally owned business, established in 1986, by Stephen Bax, the current owner.
Based in the Hobart CBD, The Fishing Connection, caters for every fisher’s needs and for for all types of fishing. The Fishing Connection is part of the larger Spot On group but is still individually owned and employs local staff.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and our collective pool of knowledge based on experience and will go to great lengths to get you the fish of your dreams or any piece of product you may be chasing.
All our staff fish regularly – in fact regularly would be the wrong term – weekly for most of us would be more the norm.
