Unsure where to fish this Easter? Andy has put together some of his suggestions:

  • Try a Halco Chrome Twisty in gold in a larger size for Kingfish in the Derwent River. (Best locations Bellerieve Bluff).

  • Eaglehawk Neck and Fortescue for a SBT ranging between 20kg and 115kg.

  • Lake St Clair for a last minute Rainbow and Brown Trout

  • Enjoy the remaining 3 weeks of the Brown Trout season and the last of the warmer weather in the highlands before winter sets in. Rainbow waters will remain open for another month. And 12 month waters such as Great Lake open to fishing with no closure to holders of the current IFS Licence.

  • Cremorne for Aust. Salmon up to 1.5kg

  • Flounder are beginning to move for autumn – early darkness and still nights making these fish a real Easter long weekend or after work option.
