Tassie Fish Frame Collection Program
IMAS have recently launched this program which is seeking fish frames (head, skeleton and ideally guts) of any legal-size Snapper, Kingfish, King George Whiting and Striped Trumpeter caught anywhere in Tassie.
You can bag up your frames and add a label (angler name, phone/email, date caught and approx. location caught) and drop them fresh or frozen to one of 17 drop off points around Tasmania (including here at Spot On).
IMAS are able to use the frames to collect extra info (e.g. age, growth) about Tasmanian populations of these species and hope to share back interesting findings with the fishing community.
